Our Advanced Running Coaching Package is designed for experienced runners who have reached a high level of fitness and are looking to optimise their performance, break personal records, and compete at a higher level. This package involves more technical training, individualised strategies, and a deeper focus on mental, physical, and tactical preparation. Below are the key features of an advanced running coaching package.


1. Highly Specialised and Customised Training Plan

  • Advanced Periodisation: A sophisticated, multi-phase training plan that focuses on peak performance, with cycles for building endurance, increasing speed, maximising strength, and tapering for races.
  • Specific Race Targets: Training tailored to specific goals, whether a championship race, a marathon, or a personal record in shorter races like a 5K, 10K, or half marathon.
  • Advanced Workouts: A variety of workouts, including intervals, hill repeats, tempo runs, fartlek sessions, long runs, threshold runs, and more, all focused on increasing speed, stamina, and running economy.
  • VO2 Max and Lactate Threshold Training: Regular physiological testing to establish training zones and monitor. (Conducted by sports scientists).


2. Peak Performance Race Preparation

  • Race-Specific Strategy: Tailored pacing and race-day strategies, including when to fuel, hydrate, and adjust effort levels.
  • Restoration and Rebuilding: Focused recovery plans after races or hard training blocks, with strategies for regaining form and performance without risking overtraining or injury.


3. Performance Monitoring and Analytics

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analysis of running metrics, such as heart rate, pace, cadence, power, stride length, and VO2 max, using advanced tracking tools (Garmin, Whoop, etc.) to optimise performance.
  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV) Monitoring: Use of HRV data to assess recovery and manage training load to avoid overtraining and optimise race performance.
  • Training Load and Fatigue Tracking: Advanced tracking tools and software that provide insights into the body’s adaptation to training stress, allowing the coach to make real-time adjustments to prevent burnout.


4. Elite Coaching Support and Feedback

  • Regular Feedback and Communication: Frequent check-ins via video calls, phone calls, or messaging apps to track progress, adjust the training plan, and provide real-time guidance.
  • In Person Sessions: Coach will attend key sessions and races. (where geographically possible).
  • Unlimited Email or Text Support: Ongoing access to the coach for technical questions, advice on training issues, and motivation when needed.
  • Data Review: Regular review of workout data and race results with specific feedback on how to improve performance or recover better.
  • Setting New Goals: Adjusting and setting new goals based on race outcomes and performance, ensuring continuous growth and development.
  • Seasonal Planning: Planning for the upcoming race seasons, focusing on new targets.
